Air Canada inaugural flight from Montreal, Canada to Curaçao

2015 started off with positive news for both the local tourism industry and the Canadian market. On January 1st 2015, Air Canada inaugurated the route; Montreal – Curaçao – Montreal. The Canadian market is growing fast and will continue to do so with the new flight schedule. The flight departs and returns to Montreal, Canada on Thursday’s during the winter season. Minister of Economic Development Mr. Stanley Palm, Vice President of Sales for Air Canada Vacations Mr. Amr Younes and CEO of CHATA Mrs. Lizanne Dindial were amongst the guest speakers during the welcome ceremony- upon the arrival of the first flight.

Besides the route Montreal, Air Canada also offers its services from the city of Toronto with flights throughout the year. Air Canada will fly to Curaçao from Montreal with an airbus 319 – a capacity of 120 passengers. In addition to Air Canada, Westjet and Sunwing also offer flights from Toronto, Canada to Curaçao.
